TOTAL GOLF FITNESS & SWING EVALUATION PROGRAM

The evaluation includes 15 golf specific tests covering; mobility, posture, strength, balance and stability.  Also, a 14 point 2-dimensional swing analysis is performed, identifying any major swing faults you may have.

A comprehensive report is run based on the data gathered from your Golf Fitness Evaluation.  This information relates directly to your ability to make a powerful repeating golf swing.  A video of your swing along with still frames identifying any swing faults is also available for your review.

Your Golf Fitness Handicap is computer generated, based on the results from your Golf Fitness Evaluation.  We use this handicap as a baseline to measure your improvement through constant reevaluation.

MY TPI

Our goal is to improve your game by improving your “golf fitness.”  If your body is not Golf Fit them your swing becomes a series of swing compensations to offset your physical limitations.

Starting with our Total Golf Fitness Evaluation and 2-Dimensional Swing analysis, we can identify any physical limitations you may have along with any swing faults you may possess. Furthermore, we can assist you in executing the proper series of exercises, coordination movements and swing drills necessary to correct your swing faults.

Like any other successful training regime, consistency and a well planned training program are paramount for its success

GOLF SPECIFIC WORKOUT PROGRAM

A golf specific program containing 18 individual workouts will be administered by a Strength and Fitness personal trainer.  These workouts are designed specifically for you based on the findings we gathered from your initial physical screening and swing evaluation.  This screening reveals to us both your strengths and weaknesses and how they relate to your ability to make a sound powerful repeating golf swing.

WHY TRAIN

In 1996, the American male amateur handicap was 16.2 and the American female amateur handicap was 29.

Today, despite advances in golf club design and technology, golf balls that travel farther and improved teaching techniques, the handicaps for both male and female amateurs remain basically the same.
